Zero-results report

Settings → Zero-results report lists shopper queries that didn’t return a confident match, grouped by query so repeated misses are easy to spot.

The summary row

Total Zero-Results, Unique Queries, and Most Frequent (the single query with the highest occurrence count) are shown at the top of the report.

Reading a row

Each group shows the search query, how many times it occurred, when it was last searched, and a Likely Issue tag:

  • Unresolved brand — the shopper referenced a brand the assistant couldn’t match. Often fixed with a brand alias.
  • No matching product — nothing in your catalog fits the request as written.
  • Out of stock — a matching product exists but has no available inventory.

Searching and exporting

Use the search box to filter to a specific query, and Export to download the current view as a CSV for offline review or sharing with a merchandising team.

What to do with it

This report is the fastest way to find real catalog or content gaps — a recurring “unresolved brand” points at a missing alias, and a recurring “no matching product” points at a genuine catalog gap worth stocking or an FAQ answer worth writing.
