Brand aliases
Shoppers don’t always type a brand’s exact catalog name — they type what they call it. Brand aliases close that gap.
Where it lives
Settings → Brand aliases. Pick a brand from your catalog, then add the alias shoppers type
for it — for example, mapping "Horlick's" to its correct catalog brand if that’s how customers
refer to it. Every alias you’ve added is listed below the form with the brand it maps to.
Why it matters
Without an alias, a shopper typing an informal or misspelled version of a brand name may get a weaker match, or none at all. Aliases feed directly into the assistant’s product search, so a match here is treated the same as typing the catalog name exactly.
