Customizing the widget
The widget is white-labeled by default — shoppers see your store’s own voice, not “Cartfilo.”
Renaming the assistant
From your admin dashboard, open Widget settings and set the shopper-facing label (the default is “Shop Assistant”). This is what appears in the launcher bubble and chat header — change it to match your brand’s tone.
Colors and placement
Widget accent color, launcher position, and greeting message are all configurable from the same settings page. Changes apply immediately — no theme redeploy needed.
Brand aliases
If your catalog uses internal names, abbreviations, or brand-specific terms shoppers might not type exactly, add them under Brand aliases so the assistant can match them correctly. This is included on every plan, including Free.
FAQ answers
Write your store’s FAQ under Widget settings → FAQ and the assistant answers shoppers from it directly, instead of guessing or falling back to a generic response. Alongside FAQ content, the same settings area holds dozens of other controls for how the assistant talks to visitors.
